Is it ok to give the SAT in dec! Will there be enough time?

I have one more problem, one of my friends hasn't given any of the SAT exams but he is planning to give them on the month of october and december i.e. SAT 1 in 5th OCT and SAT Subject Test (maths level II, physics and chemistry) in 7th December. So, has he got enough time to apply for admissions i mean before the deadline dates?? He already has proper passport(just to inform you). Also how much time does it take to get a visa??

give=presenting someone with something
take=to undertake, make due or perform, like take a test.
If he TAKES the test in December, he would be cutting it really close since scores would not be back before the LAST deadlines.

Why can’t he take it in November?

Yeah! If he takes it in December, he’ll be fine(assuming male here) because most of the deadlines are after New Years!
But yeah, I suggest that take the test in Dec. and if you’re still not satisfied with your scores, you can take the January one and update the college of your choice.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

But the results will be out before the last week, right??

atleast before 31st if i am not wrong

he needs some more time to prepare for the test that’s why he is going to take the exam in DEC and not in NOV

Almost ALL colleges accept the December SAT scores, (and most of them even accept the Jan SAT scores). However, I would strongly advise finishing testing before November - December is a really hectic month as application deadlines are just around the corner.
But if your friend wants to take the December test, he should be fine as long as he organizes his time well so that the essay-writing and application preparation process isn’t hindered due to SAT prep.

Assuming that your friend has studied the Subject Test topics in class, thorough preparation (i.e. practice) for a month (for the November SAT) should be sufficient. I’m saying this from experience.
