<p>You have to submit your Common app first for each school. Their system will not allow you to send the Writing Supplement first.</p>

<p>Sure. Send the commonapp whenever you are ready. It doesn’t matter when you send the Supplement after that as long as you submit before the school’s deadline.</p>

<p>Of course you may. That way you may get your portal access earlier for tracking. My D did one that way accidentally as there was a problem in submitting supplement.</p>
