Is it okay for your recs to beat your application?

<p>The guidance counselor at my son's school told them that it looks bad if the recommendations beat your application to the university you are applying to. Since most of the apps are common app, my son gave all recs out at once to his teachers. We figured it would save them time, since they could basically just zerox the info. Should he tell them to hold up mailing them, or just have them send them in?</p>

<p>Do schools frown on the recs getting there first?</p>

<p>Not at all. Once they recieve anything, they just open a file for you and add stuff once it comes.</p>
