I made one correction on it just now, and I resent it. It gets sent to all the schools I sent it to before previously, right? And it's okay to correct, even after the deadline for a school passed?

Yes - very few people can get all there tax info completed this early so the schools expect some corrections.

So what do I do now? Nothing?

Related question: if we send corrected FAFSA and CSS Profile after the deadline (but submitted estimated versions before the deadline), will we still get an accurate finaid statement with acceptance letters?

StrawberryMayo: I guess yes, if you have submitted the corrections on the FAFSA site you don't need to do any thing. The corrections will be sent out to colleges automatically. Though one thing - if you had submitted requests for colleges in two lots (means first time 10 colleges and then selected a few more for the second batch), I am not sure if the corrected version will automatically go to all of the colleges (because when you submit the correction in the same submission you would have selected the 10 colleges only). For this part, if applicable in your case, you may want to check with FAFSA.

But, I would suggest keep visiting the FAFSA site to see if there has been any other issues or corrections required. So, you can react quickly if any thing comes up newly.

Also, visit the college Fin Aid sites to see if any change is reflected or new requirement is posted. For example in my case when I checked status of one of the colleges it said I need to submit som additional documentation.

I wonder why no web sites trigger emails which were normally we login every time (and thus we don't need to log in to individual web sites). Any way, its the way it is.

hope that helps.
