Is it okay that I will only be able to send two AP Exam scores in?

Hello.
I recently got accepted into a semester program for my junior year in the fall. The courses there are all Honors and AP level, but some of the courses that I will take there will not align for my spring back at my homeschool, resulting in my only having 2 full year AP courses under my belt: AP Computer Science Principles (currently taking), and AP Vergil, which I will take next year. Is this a problem that I will only have 2 AP Exams to hand in? I am planning to take 4 AP courses senior year. Thanks for the help.

At first I would say no problem…until you said “home school”. Ask in http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/home-schooling-college/
As far as I know, with Home schooling, the more “tests” and “validations” you can do so colleges know your skill leve lthe better.
You could take the AP tests even if you don’t take the class.

@tristan2001 How are you homeschooling? Are you using a public charter school? Are you an independent homeschooler with your parent as your primary teacher? The 2 scenarios are different in your freedom in choosing how to proceed.

If you are using a charter or have some other regulating body determining your courses, you need to ask them what courses you will be eligible to enroll in and how they think it will impact your admissions.

If you are homeschooling at home with your parent as your primary teacher, you have a lot more flexibility. You could take fewer credits in the spring and treat the courses as block classes and complete a full yr’s worth in a single semester and still take the AP exams.

I can share our experience on admissions without lots of testing and outside validation, but it is only relevant depending on how you are actually being educated.

Sorry for not being clear. What i meant by “homeschool” is my main highschool (not the semester program) which is located near my home.

I meant to say home school, meaning my main school. Sorry for the confusion!
