Is it okay to check-in later than my housing check-in time?

<p>I know it's a dumb question, but I want to make sure. I signed up to be at my Jester dorm (hopefully get Jester East) at 2pm Friday August 24. Will they let me in if I arrive at 6pm? Please forgive me again for asking such an easy questions! I just don't want anything to go wrong! (like being not able to enter room with 5 box of luggage.</p>

Please arrive during your allotted time. If you have a change in plans or a traffic jam causes you to be a few minutes late… relax and drive safely. You do not need to notify DHFS that you are running behind. However, if you are running hours (or a day) late, try to update the check-in scheduler online.</li>

<p>No, there is no consequence for running late. The room should be ready when dorm opens, I think. Even if you don’t sign up for a time lot, you can still check in.</p>
