Is it okay to dedicate the why transfer essay to one school?

I'm fully aware that schools have specific supplements where you discuss why you want to go to Unviersity X because of Professor 1, or University Y because of Program B, etc.

My first choice school, however, doesn't have a specific supplement essay, so the only essay it will be able to read is the "Why Transfer Essay", which mainly addresses my GENERAL reasons for transferring, nothing specific at all to that particular school. So I was considering dedicating majority of my why transfer essay about that partricular school.

Is this allowed or will they frown upon this?

If a school does not have a specific supplement, then tailor the “Why Transfer Essay.” Just make sure to make an alternate CA so it will only be sent to that school.

yeah, that’s sort of what i was planning on. send a modified version of my CA to that school, and then send the original one to other schools. would you say thats a safe bet though? would the adcom not care about what im trying to do

I think it’s fine as long as you tailor it well, and don’t repeat yourself.
That’s what I did. I was very passionate about the school I was applying to; their 250 word Why X seemed limiting, so I concentrated on myself and what I sought from X University in my Why Transfer? essay, and used the Why X to talk about a niche that I didn’t address in the Why Transfer? essay.
