I am getting a C for my physics this semester...and it's one of my major courses for engineering major.......will it hurt my admission???????plz help...
btw i believe i will get anther 1-2 Bs for my another major courses...
i am applying ucb,ucla,ucsd,and ucd(already admitted)...

nah..I don't think you have to worry about it for all UCLA, UCSD, UCD...If you appied for EECS @ UCB then you need a B overall averege...I doubt if they will revoke admission for that...just email the UCz and ask them...

So we havent heard from UCSD ha?

tks for the information...

no i still don't receive anything from ucsd yet,but i believe ucsd will notify us next Monday...

indie_boy should i send email to the uc-admission office or the department i am applying for?

Yes you must let them know...But I think it is wise if you let them know after you get in....Since you got into Davis...Call Mary Ramirez or something but it is listed in the admission conditions...the email address is also listed...let Davis know as soon as possible. As for the other UCz you might want to call/email them after you get the acceptance...

indie_boy: when you mean B average...are you saying that if you have one C you get denied?

the uc's tell you to only report to them if you get a grade that is lower than a C. They don't say to tell them if your GPA drops. So just don't get a D or F.

um... Isn't the admissions term to maintain similar GPA as applied.

So one C and the rest A and B should be fine.

Getting a D might be problematic, but i know people who gotten a D after admission, but still managed to not have admission revoked.

i read my conditions of admission for sd, irvine and sb and they said this semester i just need to have at least a 2.0 gpa.
