Haha, just kidding, I don't really have a 1.0 GPA, but it's pretty bad - I have a 85%ish, or a 3.2-3.4 ish. This GPA is unweighted. SATs are 1400/1600, 2100/2400.

I am applying to several schools, more specifically NYU Stern (EDII), Carnegie Mellon's Tepper, Emory and a few more like RPI, Penn State, Drexel, etc.

After my father unexpectedly died a few hours after healthy release from a hospital, my life changed forever. This was shortly before I entered high school. I was a straight A student in middle school and was pretty much number one or two in my "class." I excelled in math as my father was a PhD in that.

I love technology. I completed several internships in the high tech industry, specifically website hosting and development. I also held three jobs in the industry, all with good remarks.

I own, right now, a five figure application development company. We own two patents under the USPTO. Our application is industry changing and has seen excellent growth. I also, along with my business partner, cater to private clients.

My responsibilities include corporate tax payments, credit management, and fiscal/legal information for the business. I am the CEO and it is a registered incorporation with a solid profile.

Despite my low GPA, does this give me a chance, specifically for NYU Stern, CMU and Emory?
