Is it possible/advisable to take courses at more than one CC?

I'm looking to transfer within about two years to a UC, but the location/selection of classes at the CC I'm going to now aren't ideal. Problem is, I've already built up a rapport with counselors and made friends here, so I don't want to switch CCs completely. Can I take classes at two CCs at the same time? Especially since I'm using the major requirements/transferable courses from assist.org for my primary CC...how would it work exactly? Would UC admissions accept two transcripts?

Yes. In fact numerous people do this because some CCs offer courses that are not available at their current CC.

Just go to assit.org and change the articulation agreement to whichever CC you want to take courses in.

Yes.

You can take classes anywhere you want just check if they’re transferable (either use assist.org or talk to multiple counselors - talking to one will only confuse you as they are ■■■■■■■■…)

assist, not assit, lol

I missed a S. Big deal. I’m sure the OP knew what I meant.
