Is it possible for me to get in atleast one of the cal states listed below?

<p>The five cal states that I have applied are, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU sanbernardino, Cal State fullerton, CSU dominguez hills and CSU LA. I have a low GPA of 3.0 and an average SAT of 1640. What are my chances? And since I am asian, won't they compare me with all the other smart asians at my school?</p>

<p>You have a good chance at all of those schools. Don’t worry about your race, they don’t use race to hold people back!</p>

<p>Public schools are by law unable to admit people or take into factors by race. Different story for private schools though…</p>

<p>You chances are good. You’ll definitely (will I guess nothing is 100%) get into at least one. I would guess that you get into most or all of them.</p>

<p>You’ll get in. Those schools have a cut-and-dry admissions process.</p>
