Is it possible for me to get into CMU?

I'm a junior in high school right now, and I'm set on going to a good school. I'm interested in two majors: Industrial Design and Cognitive Sciences/Psychology. Carnegie Mellon U offers both these majors and it's on the east coast, which I like.

Do I even have a chance at CMU?

GPA - around 3.9
SAT - 2230 (reading 770, math 760, writing 700)
SAT Subject tests - Math Level II - 800 (I'm planning on taking Physics and Bio)
Around 200 hours of community service to a club my friends and I started
4 on AP test for both AP Euro and AP Calc AB
I'm taking AP Physics C this year and AP Calc BC

I normally always get mostly A's and some B's, but last trimester I got a C in AP Physics. I'm sure it will be an A this trimester and the next, so will that make up for it?

Thanks!

I’d say you definitely have a chance at getting in; even with the B’s and one C.

Yeah a good chance IMO

Is the 3.9 weighted?

If it’s UW, you’re in great shape assuming quality ECs, essays, and recommendations. If it’s weighted, it might be a bit tougher, but you should still have a solid chance. Generally a few Bs and a C aren’t going to hurt all that much - you don’t need perfect grades to get into a great school.
