I’m not really above average at all, my ACT is 30 (33 in Science and English, 28 in Math I think and 27 in Reading) and my gpa is pretty close to a 3.8. I’ve taken AP Biology (sophomore year), AP Chem, AP AB Cal and AP English III. My senior schedule includes AP Music Theory, AP English IV, AP BC Cal, AP Euro and AP Gov/ AP Macroeconomics. I’m in the NHS.

Your ACT can hurt your App. Try to increase for a 34+. Also your chances are like anyone who applied there(those are reaches). Nobody has a spot, but you can try. Also those schools have holistic admission so not only grades and standarized test score count but also EC’s, letter of recommendations and essays. Try your best and good luck.

Yup, I’m in rather the same boat as you. Bring your scores up and you have a really good shot.
