Is it possible to appeal a major if it wasn't listed as your alternate?

I had FILM as my major and comparative lit as my alternate; however, within the 6 months that I sent my application I've been really interested in Philosophy.

I'd like to appeal as a Philosophy major even though I've only done two pre-reqs out of four...though, one of the classes weren't offered at my school.

STATS
GPA - 4.0
E.C. - decent
ESSAY - Good
TAP - No

Anyone know if I can do this?

This is UCLA right? So you didn’t get in? If you got in under lit you could change easily. Changing schools is more difficuolt. Appealing after being rejected to a different major is even more difficult but they all are POSSIBLE. Especially because philosophy is a non impacted major.

If you were rejected you’d have to have new and compelling info

The OP wasn’t considered for their alt because they don’t have TAP.

Yes you can appeal for different major even if it wasn’t your alt.
