I’ve been admitted to Northeastern for a Computer engineering (college of engineering) Major but i want to change my major to Computer Science (college of applied sciences)
Can i change my major once i am there ? or do i have to wait an entire year to change my major ?
Try asking Northeastern admissions if they can change your major now that you are accepted, before registering for your first semester. DS requested a change from engineering to pharmacy shortly after receiving his acceptance and in his case, Northeastern was willing to change it right away so he could enter with the major and take the courses that he needed right from the start.
You can do it directly on your student portal before arriving, it should process very easily.
There should be a link in your admitted student portal to request a change of major. I don’t expect there would be any problem stitching to CS from engineering, so you’ll be able to start out on the right track.
