Is it possible to change majors?

I am an incoming freshman and I really want to change my major. Ive had a really life changing summer and I know that I want to change my major. But I didnt apply to any other colleges but LC smith. So will it be possible for me to switch? I wish to switch to pre-law btw.

It will be so very easy.
Well ok, little more challenging because of Engineering bc I'm not sure which classes you're required to take as a frosh. If you're transferring to Arts and Science, just take a lot of classes in Arts and Science (which every SU student is welcome to do) and get started on your core. Talk to your academic adviser as soon as you can. Intra-university transfers are really smooth.

You also don't go into your major until ending of sophomore year to beginning of junior year so you have plenty of time to decide and find your passion.

That's not entirely so. You don't declare until the end of sophomore year, yes, but you do start with core classes well before then. I'm beginning my junior year, and I'm more than half way through my major. Some majors are easier to complete in a short time than others. If there is a sequence of courses you must take, time is of the essence. Of course, since you're switching before you even get started, that is not an issue for you, Chris. I just don't want others getting the wrong idea.

Do we get scheduled to talk to our advisors or do I have to go on my own? And if the latter is true, then where do I go lol?

You'll have a time, I believe.

I was in a similar situation. I was accepted to Whitman Business school, only to switch into Arts and Sciences and become a Pre-Dentistry/Biology major.
If I were you, I'd speak to one of the Pre-Law advisors sometime over your first/second week at SU.
I know that there is an event for all freshmen students who are interested in Pre-Law sometime during your first week at SU. I don't recall the exact date and location. You should have already received this information by mail.
