<p>Yes. You actually declare a major in spring sophomore year. Plenty of students switch around. Some majors are limited however and you may have a more difficult time getting in, such as engineering. You are lucky to be in Smeal and can wait to switch so that you can make a more educated choice after a year of classes.</p>
