So, I am finishing my 3rd year and things have gone real south. I am looking at failing a class and getting a D in another one. I am just wondering if anyone here has gone through the same thing and come back from the brink. My GPA is already pretty low and and I know that my problems lie in not having a strong base in calculus and other prereqs. Any advice on how I can fix this?
Talk to the professor. Go to all the tutoring sessions. Find classmates to study with.
How are the other students doing? Many profs curve at GT.
Is there another section taught by a different prof that you can sit in on?
Other than calc what other prereqs? For calc many of the problems lie in a weak foundation of trig. It depends on what your exact issue is. Browse amazon for some good books that focus on your weak area. Lookup youtube videos for calc skills you are weak in.
And yes you can overcome this with hard work.
