Is it possible to confirm two universities for May 1st?

I was wondering whether I'd be able to pay the deposits for two universities, so that I can have more time to decide? Is it possible to do that for NYU and BU?

Nope, double depositing isn’t allowed in the US. If you double deposit, BU and NYU may find out and rescind your offers (schools sometimes cross-check lists with each other to look out for double deposits.) I would imagine BU and NYU cross-check lists with each other since they are schools that students often have to choose between.

^ Are you certain about that?

You can try but if they do find out you’re out at both. Maybe you should really try to make a decision by May 1. My son was debating among BU, NYU, and Pitt and finally chose Pitt for their strong neuro program and lower cost. If both are equal for your academic field, then choose either lower cost or best city/campus. Good luck!

^ Well, they’re both $60,000!

Anyway, I think I’ll go for NYU, because their econ program is really really good.

That said, Umich still haven’t replied the bastards! Jeopardizing my decisions…

Please go back and re-read what you signed when you signed the common application. You can not double deposit. You can deposit and then accept another school off the waitlist (and lose first deposit)
