<p>I was wondering whether I’d be able to pay the deposits for two universities, so that I can have more time to decide? Is it possible to do that for BU and NYU?</p>
<p>There isn’t a master database that all of the schools use, so the universities wouldn’t know that you’ve committed to more than one. However, you’ll lose the deposit for the school you don’t attend and potentially, depending upon when you decide, take a space from someone else that would want to attend the college to decide not to attend.</p>
<p>If schools find out about it though, you can be in trouble. I wouldn’t risk it. Do a search for some other threads on this topic on CC…it’s an ethical debate that a lot of people have had out on here.</p>
