Hi all, I got into Ross today, but I still want to do premed. I'm not 100 % sure I want to go to med school like the psycho premeds at Mich, but I still want it as a possibility, in fact over the next year it may become my first choice. My question is, should I accept admittance to Ross and is it still possible to fulfill premed courses with a set schedule? Or is it very difficult. I have AP credits for Gen Chem, Biology, Calc 1 and 2, so that should help. I also took Orgo 1 last year and will be going into my sophomore year. Thanks for the help.

It will be difficult, but if you really are undecided, go for maybe half an year, then make a final decision on your major. Trying to hassle both business and premed requirements is going to be too difficult.

One of my friends is doing both Ross and premed.

So yes, it is possible.

He studies a lot though.

I can name at least four people doing it. Sounds tough. Most of them are more interested in the sciences than in the business classes, so they actually have higher science GPAs than Ross GPAs.

I believe that maguo on this forum is doing it. I don't know if he posts here much anymore though.

that sounds extremely difficult. However, you will likely find what you want to do by end of freshmen year, so good luck to you.

a person in my frat just graduated from ross and he was pre-med- it's possible.

I don't have the AP credits and haven't been accepted to Ross, but in case of acceptance (when I apply sometime next year) I was thinking about taking Spring Terms. Is pre-med + Ross more manageable then?

How many credits are Pre-Med requirements? Ross?

schedule a dual-degree counseling appointment at ross?
