Is it possible to drop/add classes over the summer?

<p>I'm a transfer student, and of course, most of the courses at Rutgers are closed by now.</p>

<p>But I am wondering, is it still possible to check over the course of the summer for any available openings? Or do we have to wait until the first week of classes to drop/add?</p>

<p>For example, I have STAR Day tomorrow, and say General Biology was closed but in middle of July, there is an opening according to the online schedule of classes, will I be able to register for that section in Mid-July, or must I wait until the first week of classes to register into that opening?</p>

<p>My son just changed a class the other day. He looks every day for other times that may open up. A suprising amount of sections open and close every day.</p>
