Is it possible to find an overseas internships?

What I mean is that is it possible to find an overseas internships, such as intern in china or in asia , even though you are an american citizen? And how do you go about it? How does an internship usually last? 1 month or more than that?

kinkid,

Absolutely. Many companies abroad are looking for college students, grad students, and recent grads to go and do work abroad.

Also, there are plenty of opportunities with the US government abroad.

Many things are for the summer, by the way.

May I know how to apply to work overseas internships? As in you would also need to apply for a work permit right?

It depends on the situation. For many government jobs you don't, but you might have to for some of the private sector ones. But a lot of that will be covered with the visa process and whatnot.

The question is not "is it possible" but "how do you do it?" What are the foreign companies that offern internship?

Would it be possible to find an overseas internship if you are not over 18? (I'm an incoming High School senior). If so, (I am too interested in an internship in China) which foreign companies offer these?
