Would it be possible to get both a degree from the College of Engineering AND from CAS? I saw in a other thread that you can take classes from any of the colleges as long as you fulfill credit requirements in your own college; does this mean you could get a second degree from another college?
RE: Concurrent Degree Program Overview
Though Concurrent Degree Program undergraduates pursue programs of study in two colleges and earn both a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Sciences and one of the following degrees:
B.S. in Engineering
B.F.A. in Art
B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies
Earning two degrees usually requires 10 semesters; the university provides eligible students with financial aid for the entire period.

RE: Requirements for Concurrent Degree Program
As a candidate for two degrees you are required to earn a minimum of 150 credits and must satisfy all degree requirements for both colleges. The number of credits you will have to earn with the particular combination of majors you choose may total more than 150. At least 100 credits must come from courses offered in Arts and Sciences. The two majors must be distinct and independently complete, that is, no course may be used to fulfill requirements in both majors.

RE: How to Apply for Concurrent Degree Program
You may apply at any time between the second semester of the freshman year and the end of the first semester of the junior year. A minimum grade point average of 2.7 is required. Applications from second-term freshmen will be evaluated when grades for that term become available. Additional requirements for some programs include:
a portfolio for applicants to Art
in certain circumstances, an essay, letters of recommendation or other supplementary materials
To obtain an application you must attend a Concurrent Degree information session.

This information is interesting. I didn’t think it was possible to have a double major across colleges.
