Is it possible to get a good score on the SAT Chem Test without taking a class?

I’m a junior in full IB this year. Due to schedule complications I could not get into the IB chemistry class. I still want to take the chemistry subject test though, if it’s reasonable. I don’t have any prior experience with chemistry either. There’s chemistry club twice a week at my school though that I can join. I’m planning on taking Math II and the Bio later in the year.

Am I just setting myself up for failure? If not, how long and how should I stidy for the test?

I think that you will have enough to handle with your IB course load.
