<p>Are you talking about being a research assistant for a professor at your college or a paid position elsewhere? You can certainly be a research assistant for a prof during the school year. I had done so for over a year. If it’s a position elsewhere then I’d still say yes, so long as the hours don’t conflict with classes and you have the time to commit to it. And yes, you could continue taking classes over the summer even if it’s a summer position.</p>
