I’ve been told its possible to graduate high school with an associate’s degree, but is it possible for an associate’s degree in nursing?
No
@jaxoncu
in our CC it is a two-year program that first requires passing college Anatomy and Physiology 1+2, you cannot apply until you are at least a HS senior, and you have to be 18 to take any of the actual Nursing (NUR) classes. you could possibly get a year into it by the time you graduate, but i do not see any way to compete it before HS graduation.
or, one could complete all the BSN prerequisites while earning the AA or AS degree in high school, then earn the ADN the first two years of college, then in year 3 complete an RN-to-BSN program at a university. this way you could earn the Bachelors in Nursing in only 3 years.
our CC has just begun offering an Associates in Engineering and my son will earn it before HS graduation.
