I only joined like one club at school. I'm planning to join the newspaper next year because its kind of too late to join now. Also I have a lot of volunteering experience. I tutor kids, volunteered at hospitals, libraries, and service centers. I also get Straight A's (exept for one B). So do you think its possible? The reason why I don't join many clubs is because I really don't have the time to devote to so much club. So do you think its possible to et into say UCLA without being involve in more than 3 clubs?

It’s possible.
It also depends on which grade you’re in. If you’re a freshman or sophomore, you still have a lot of time.

Clubs mean nothing unless you can prove that you contributed greatly to them or if you made an impact in your community in some way. Padding your resume with meaningless clubs will only make you seem weaker. It’s perfectly fine that you’re not part of a time-suck club. Find something you’re truly interested in and develop through that.
Assuming you’re a junior (1995), now would be a good time to embark on your own project/start writing your essays.

Just think if it’s going to be something that you’re actually going to do in college because that’s what the colleges really want to see .

I was the member of only one club, and I got into Vandy, UNC (OOS), CMU, and Wake Forest. Honestly, if you’re involved in some good ECs outside of school, it won’t matter much if you’re in X amount of clubs or not. If you want to join clubs, join the ones you’re actually interested in. For the one club I’m a member of, I would still be doing it even if it didn’t count for college. I see a lot of kids joining millions of clubs just to boost their resumes these days, and it’s pretty disappointing because they don’t realize that they’re just hurting themselves by not pursuing something they’re actually interested in.
