<p>I would love to join one of the earlier summer orientations and read somewhere on here a while back that if someone drops out and you were to refresh your page at the right time that you could take their spot. What area of the website would I do this refreshing? Or is there a way I can call the admissions office to notify me when someone drops out?</p>

<p>jg11443, were you notified by an email or a call from the admissions office that an earlier session was available? Or did you just happen to see an opening while you were checking one day? How did it appear on the orientation page? </p>
<p>Thanks in advance! A friend of mine is in UGS and has yet to sign up for an orientation date because all of the sessions are closed, according to the page. :/</p>
<p>There are a few orientations open now. I think some of them had been closed up until yesterday or today, when many people cancelled their orientation for obvious reasons. If the one you want isn’t listed on the orientation page, check at 8am everyday and see if it is listed then.

<p>yeah i just signed up and went to change my registration. normally only 1-2 dates are open but if ur lucky someone will drop and the list will show more, possibily earlier ones. but yeah, just keep refreshing the page for “change status” or w.e. it is.</p>
<p>Meh. I keep refreshing and rechecking, for my friend (I have nothing better to do), but all it gives me is “for Undergraduate Studies freshman students. All sessions are closed. Sessions may be open later due to cancellations.”</p>
<p>Pretty sure it’s different for you guys because you have different schools. I’m in Business, and it still lists another orientation date that I can change to. Still no luck for UGS though…</p>
<p>I switched from fourth to second and to first! So yes, and don’t just check at 8AM. Check whenever possible… there seems to be random slots open at different times. Well then again, I’m a business major so there are a lot of slots - I know other majors (e.g. Fine arts) that are less represented at orientations have a harder time.</p>
<p>Anyhow, just check obsessively and at 8AM! You never know when a slot might open up :)</p>
<p>Wow, you’re so lucky! I just checked, and I still only see the last two orientation dates open for Business for me.</p>
<p>Finally booked an orientation for my friend! The last time I checked, the 6/27-6/29, 7/11-7/13, and 7/16-7/18 orientations are available for UGS students.</p>
