Is it possible to get into Columbia if...

...You have some B's? I got a B in Algebra II/Trig Honors freshman year.

And I had all A's sophomore year until midterms came along and screwed me, and now I have 92s (ONE FREAKING POINT) in 4 classes. I take all honors and AP World History.

How much damage did that do, if hypothetically I do very well junior and senior year? When looking at transcripts and they see sophomore year semester one, will they take into account how close to an A those were? What should I be doing academically and otherwise to make me a stronger candidate?

Sorry if this seems really paranoid but this has been bothering me.

I feel like any sentence that begins with “Is it possible to get into xx if yyy” should probably be answered with YES for 90% of the possible situations.

But yeah don’t worry about some Bs. Besides, nothing you can do about them now.

If you get A’s in AP courses, then that’s all that matters. (unless you got D’s or maybe C’s in honors classes).
