Do kids with sat's from like 2000-2200 or ACTs like 30-33 and subject tests under 800 ever get in? And how important is having computer science experience?(because I have a lottt)

Of course!!

Read last years results threads. CMU isn’t creating a class of robots-- but as several of the regular posters here noted, CMU is seeking to build a widely diverse and interesting class. They look for leaders, athletes, musicians, etc.
It’s most certainly NOT all about the data.

Ok so it will also help that I am going to play golf if I get admitted?

Cdub16,

Take me as an example. I had 2000-2200 SATs, 30-33 ACTs and Subject Tests under 800 and I got into SCS. Having some sort of computer science experience or interest is a lot more important to the admissions committee.

And yes, doing some sort of athletic activity on your record will help.
