this has probably been asked before, but i couldnt find it through the search engine. Is it possible to get into stanford without taking subject tests? and another question, if someone took an SAT II (subject test) and got a 400, would that person be better off if he/she had not taken it in the first place? thanks for the help.

check the collegeboard site. they have every statistical fact you could ever want about almost all colleges

Is it possible, yes. If you got a 400, you're kinda screwed.

It's possible, yes, though they recommend it. They would probably ignore a 400, as there's probably a good reason for it.

cool, thanks for the help, im sure i wont get a 400, i was just naming a worst case scenario. anybody know what Running Start is? its a program where u can go to a community college during ur junior and senior years and get college and high school credit. Does anyone know someone who has done a program simular to this and has gotten into a top 20 school?

yes, one of my friends got into stanford without taking the subject tests at all; she opted for Yale
