Is it possible to improve from a 450-700+ in CR?

Is it possible for me to improve from a 450-700+ in CR (My first SAT was 1840 (450 CR, 760 M, 630 W))? I have 3 yrs until my LAST possible time to take the SAT, but for some reasons, I would not be able to do any preparation from January to August every year. Please do not tell me that I am worrying too much, I am just planning ahead... LOL.

I somehow always get wrong in the medium-hard sentence completion, and I usually bomb one whole passage or something like that...

got the same CR prob here just in less intensity (ie i got 650 CR and 790 math) well, i got 10 days to prepare for critical, u got 3 years so dont worry. (^^^)

I went from a 400 to 570 in 2 week (intl student)im sure you can increase at least 200 points. Use the blue book and check out why your answers were wrong on the website.

Are you saying that you got 1840 on your SAT freshman year? That is great.

Remember that unless you are already taking AP English, or reading a LOT on your own, you should improve a lot by 11th grade. Just plan to take it at least twice more, maybe once next year and once early junior year. Get the Direct Hits books for vocab, and any online tools to test CR.

That’s great if my scores are like 600+ for all 3 subjects, but with a 760 that could be improved on by very little, that’s harder…

AP English is not being offered in our school, and my school’s english focuses on grammar and rheotical skills (good for the writing part, but not for the CR).

What do you mean by online tools? Please give me some examples.

By the way, my personal goal is 2250 (could be achieved with 670 CR, 800 M, 780 W). But a 2000 would be fine and is much more achievable (650 CR, 800 M, 750 W)
