Is it possible to make modifications

after sending in my material? I am applying to Brown, and I sent in my application last tuesday. I just found out that I forgot to put the date at the bottom of the essay part. If you look at it, it will say

By signing here, I certify that this statement is entirely my own original work and that all information included is accurate to the best of my knowledge

signature of student ___ Date ___
(required)

I did sign it, but I forgot to put the date it was signed. Am I totally screwed? Or is there any way I can fix this problem? Or will they overlook it? I am very anxious and desperate right now. Please help me!

i need some response ppl!

Please!!!!!!!!!

:( very sad

Call Brown. I sincerely doubt you can make changes to your application after submitting.

is my problem a serious one?

I don't think so. Though maybe they'll think you didn't carefully go over the instructions, inability to follow instructions, but everyone makes a few goofs. I mean, I don't think it's serious, but I'm also not an adcom at brown either.

i'd love to get some response from those who know a lot about college admissions.......

This is a very minor thing. If they feel your application is incomplete, they will contact you. However, I'd put a dated copy in the mail with a post it note saying "adding missing signature date only, please replace".

I made a change to my Stanford App, saying that I no longer think I would apply for financial aid. Call them. If it's something that minor, just ask them without worrying too much about it. They're not gonna reject someone for not putting down the date, and even if they're on the fence about you, imagine how silly it would be to say "Well whereshouldigo and Bob have the exact same credentials, but what's this? whereshouldigo has forgotten to put down the date! Ho, let's kick him out."

But then again, them adcoms are shifty fellows.

Call them or e-mail
