Is it possible to not send in transcript from past cc?

the first city college that i went to was los angeles valley college and i did not do so well there. i took two transferrable courses in which i got C's in. i also took two non-transferrable courses that i was placed in after taking the placement test. the two C's are really killing my gpa. i now go to a different city college.

i was wondering if its possible to not turn in my transcript from los angeles valley college to the UC's when i apply next fall.

:\ i cant even do academic renewal because it's not a D or F.

possible? yes.

advisable? no.

you could jeopardize your admission to the entire UC system and if they find out years down the line, you could have your diploma rescinded.

I wouldn't sweat it...that's what your personal statement is for :D ...two c's won't hinder you much, assuming you are doing well now.

They're gonna wonder about that gap in your education

Yeah it's possible not to send your transcript from your past college. But by ommitting that information about attending a previous college will severly jeopardize your admission. If you think you can get away with it, schools have this thing called The National Clearinghouse which holds your whole entire database of your school record which states previously attended college(s), enrollment, and etc.

The posted replies above me are right. Just don't do it!

Of course its possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. Come to think of it a friend of mine went to CSUN for a year and got horrible grades, but on his app he lied and said he worked during that semester instead of going to college. He then went to JC in the spring and from spring 08 to now, he will have covered 60 units. He has gotten into SD already. But dont do what he did, caz hes an idiot. Just take the safe route and inform them of the grades from your part college and I am sure you will be fine.

Just send it in. You will feel much better about your app and chances that way. I went to RCC for a semester and had horrid grades. I talked about that in my personal statement and I've been admitted to CSULB and UCSB so far. Plus, C's are not that bad.
