So I’ve been accepted as a theatre major in the school of communication, and I was planning on picking up a double major in English, economics, or history from Weinberg, which I’ve read is really easy to transfer into, but since I’ve applied I picked up an English for publications class at my high school and I really, really like it. However, I haven’t found anything about adding a double major in journalism from Medill. I know it’s a highly competitive program, which is why I’m kinda thinking that I won’t be able to pick up a double major in it, but does anybody know how that process would work?
Based off a few online searches, it doesn’t look like there’s an established School of Comm / Medill dual degree program (which is what a double major between two schools is called at NU), but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t do it. I would suggest contacting a university official.

Dual degrees between Weinberg and an other school are not at all uncommon, fyi.
I’m gonna second @thatrunnerkid that you need to ask someone at NU. Dual degrees are fairly common, but Medill is a lot of work and a lot of running around getting interviews and such.
