Is it possible to raise my score and how do I do it?

I am currently a Senior and have one last chance to get a decent SAT score on the December test. I scored a 1230 on my most recent SAT and want to get to at least 1400. I would only have about a month to study. Is it possible? What should I do to study, what should I use to prepare, and what study plan should I use. Anything helps. Thanks.

If you can get a tutor and hone down to improve on a few areas.

Otherwise get a good study guide with lots of tests. Do a test a week like at the same time /day as you would normally take it. Yes the full test. Review the things your getting wrong and solve why.

Work on apparent weaknesses but also work to keep your strengths up.

Use Kahn Academy also to get through things your having problems on.

It’s a lot of points to make up but it’s been done before.

Also keep up with your current homework. No one can answer if you can do it… Only you can.

I got a 1400 on the october 2018 sat just by practicing on Khan Academy and UWorld. I read the Barron’s SAT book and Erica Meltzer’s books as well, but they did not help me as much as those websites did. Take all 8 full tests on the khan academy and practice everyday on UWorld. Make sure to read the tips uworld provides at the bottom after every question you answer. also read every explanation of math questions

Do you know if the practice tests on Khan Academy are the same as the ones in the College Board blue book?

I cannot answer this since I haven’t gone through the College Board blue book itself. But if anything, they should be the same because the 8 practice tests available on Khan Academy are officially released by College Board (these two organizations have collaborated to provide SAT prep materials)

I would highly recommend the Khan academy SAT prep. I took the first of their 8th practice tests without any prep whatsoever and scored about 1330. I didn’t really do any SAT prep as such, since I found most of the material easy so it was all about getting used to the format and question style. In your case you may want to check out their prep other than the practice tests. But as far as the practice tests are concerned, solving all 8 will definitely help. My scores steadily increased until the 4th or 5th test, at which point I got really bored of doing them and they began to drop. I peaked on the 7th test at 1570 (I concentrated my very hardest on that one) and then got around 1550 on the 8th and final one. Ended up getting a 1540 on the actual SAT. If I could go from a 1330 to a 1540 just by solving more tests, you have a great chance of reaching your target scores too. It’s annoying and tiring, they each take around 4 hours, but trust me, it’s worth it.
