Is it possible to renege?

Hi everyone
yesterday I clicked 'yes' in the admission offer for a certain school, but the more and more i think about it, the more I want to attend ANOTHER school that also gave me an offer (yea I had a long struggle on which one to choose). the thing is, I haven't submitted an enrollment payment yet, so it hasn't been completed. long story short, I really want to accept the other school's offer now, so would it be ok to just say "sorry, I made a mistake and I would like to change my decision" ? Or is it too late and I'm bound already?

thanks

just email them and tell them the truth .. fast! they might still be able to admit somebody else off their waitlist.

so that means i am not legally bound to attend the school even though i clicked yes?

Even if you are legally bound, they can release you. Just e-mail or call them ASAP to let them know how you feel and they should be fine with letting you go. After all, they'd much rather have someone there that wants to attend over someone that regrets it.
