I have an upwards trend, I’m just wondering if UCs check senior grades or not. I hear some say they ask for it if you are on the edge of admission during the admissions season, others say after your admission decision, and etc. I would like to know truth. I desire to make my chances of admission higher.
UC’s use Senior grades to maintain your provisional admission once accepted. Unless they send you a supplemental review, your Senior grades are not considered in your admissions.
@Gumbymom Thank you, I’ve heard of that answer more frequently than any other answer outside of college confidential but I just needed to make sure. 
Senior year’s 1st semester grades would only affect your admission chances if you receive a supplemental review OR if you are waitlisted to any UC campus.
