Is it possible to skip a year in community college then xfer into a UC?

Let's say I pass 6 AP tests and already taken 2 classes at a CC. Is it possible to skip a year into a UC?

Oh yeah another question. So SATs aren't needed for a transfer? I sorta want to take them again and prove I can destroy those crappy tests without studying.

i would suggest you to speak to a counsellor.

Hm. Not sure. I took 10 AP Tests, all with 4 or higher and took CC classes during high school year.

I know of a friend who went to CC one year and then transferred to UCB the next year, as a sophomore, so yes it is possible, but of course, the chances of that are very slim, but they have some spots available, definitely.

I've taken 5 AP's and a few CC classes in high school. It is possible to transfer in a year(thats what i'm doing) but it isn't easy. One word of advice, finish your eng. classes by the end of your first semester. Thats needed for the tag, but alot of counselors forget to tell you that.

Update: check out the universityofcalifornia.com UC Transfer Preparation Admission Eligibility Requirements. It goes into detail what you need and everything, which is what my friend did.

Good luck! [:
