HOW DOES IT LOOK? DO I HAVE A SHOT? THANKS A TON!
AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AT GEORGETOWN!!! :)

First of all, you have no idea WHY you were deferred; though I am surprised you didn’t get in with your URM status. Keep in mind it is very competitive EA and everyone who is not accepted is deferred (which accounts for the low 10% acceptance rate for deferred applicants). Personally, I would be surprised if you didn’t get accepted RD, simply because you are statistically qualified and hispanic. Good luck.

looks like you have 1 leg in the door for GTown. My question is this though: you got into a bunch of great schools. Why are you stressing out?

thanks guys…im just a bit stressy, more so, because decisions are approaching quickly.

Looks like u have a chance…but the Emory board said that you are a rejected emory scholar?

yeah… made it to the second round, where they tell u u made it “or supposedly are an outstanding candidate for admission”

Yes, it certainly is possible! Even if you don’t get into Georgetown (which you probably will), you got a likely from Dartmouth!! Chill out- whatever will be will be.

out of curiosity, would you choose georgetown over duke?

well in all honesty, I personally would choose Duke over any of those, but in this economic crisis, I’m gonna have to go with the school that gives me the best FA. (I don’t wanna go to UGA though :o)

You’re in GA too? Lemme guess, Northview? Wheeler? lol

i cant say…but its not northview…but i workout with a lot of guys from northview. lol

Hmm. . . I dunno, they might take it as lack of interest (the fact that you didn’t make sure the SAT’s arrived). . . So, I honestly don’t know what to tell you. Go to Dartmouth. And if you’re waiting on anything like Harvard, you’ll probably get in, because you’re Hispanic.

I got raped…rejected
