Is it possible to take more than 20 units of upper div EECS?

I'm taking 3 upper div cs, 1 lower div ee, 1 upper div ee class this semester and I think it's a fairly doable schedule.

I'd like to up the ante and take 5 upper div eecs and 1 humanities course next semester. Is that possible or is there some unit restriction?

I think the max is 22.5 units/semester, but that doesn't really matter since you can easily petition to increase the cap. But what classes are you thinking of taking, and out of curiosity what classes are you taking this semester?

Are you trying to take ALL the upper div cs classes or something dude?

lol you are crazy.... u should take cs150 162 164 169 in 1 semester .....

The max is 20.5 units, and I believe Telebears lets you sign up for that many and one more. So if you're at 20 units, you can sign up for one more class, bringing you up to 24-25. Beyond that you'll need to petition.

5 upper-div CS classes is going to be pretty crazy, but if you think your current schedule is doable......

As far as the unit cap goes, there isn't really a limit because you can petition for a lot more, if you can handle it. I have a friend in EECS who is taking 29 units right now, so you don't need to worry about too many units not getting approved. =)

Well, it's good to know that there are people who are so passionate about this major.

I'm taking my sixth upper-division EE course this term, and then I'm done.
