If I unwilling end up going to Michigan State University, after my freshman year, Would it be possible to transfer over to Harvard. If so, what would need to be done?

^^ Just type-in “harvard transfer applicants” to google and the first entry gets you: [Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Transfer Program](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/transfer/index.html)

Would it be possible though? Im saying, even though I didnt do to well in High School, and lets say I perform outstanding in college, would they possibly accept me?

As with all Harvard applicants – freshman or transfer – much depends on the roll-of-the-dice. You will never know unless you try!

High SAT scores, High College GPA, take MSU Honors, and it can be possible

Most successful transfers into top schools like HYP were successful admittees to them, but for some reason, ended up attending other schools (like MSU) – usually for full-ride scholarships and such. Later, these students change their mind and apply to transfer.

There are lots of 4.0 students at MSU or other colleges – but very few are viable candidates to transfer into HYP. Your HS record will be noted and likely, will knock you out of any real contention.

The person who got in as a transfer this year was waitlisted the year before, had a 3.9+ at vanderbilt- a top school, and ran a very successful non-profit for 3 years, just to give you an idea.
