Is it possible to transfer to a UC after you have transferred to a UC?

I recently transferred from a community college to UCSD. However, I am switching my major and UCSD does not offer it. I was wondering if I can transfer to another UC after one year at UCSD. Is it possible?

You transferred to UCSD from a community college as a junior and you want to transfer out again? I doubt that is possible.

Your EXACT major doesn’t matter.

Just take something close to it and slap on a few classes that interest you.

Too many people are obsessed with picking the right major.
Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering share a lot of the same opportunities.

Econ and Bus Admin share similar opportunities.

Sociology and Psych share similar opportunities.

To an employer English = Communications = Journalism = Literature

Get something “close enough” and do everything you can to graduate with honors.

Hell I’m an Econ major and I’m working within Engineering & Ops at an F500 firm right now. Life is what you make of it.

you better go see a counselor immediately to see what rules apply to you. My understanding is that there is a cap on the number of units you can have and still be eligible for a xfer. You had to be at least a junior to get into UCSD, one more year may make you a senior, and most if not all UCs prohibit senior xfers. It may be your only option is to withdraw and apply at your new school.

No, even if you can your talking about wasting an extra year, focus on graduating at the college your at .
