Hi, I'm just curious if any of you think it's possible, and how much work I need to put into it.
(also, I won't be using CC after I get a few replies, I just posted it now to ask).

So here's the story:
I was busy with a ton of stuff in July (slacked wayy too much in June and read the wrong summer reading book) and now, I have a c***load of tasks to complete before 8/20/12, which is when school starts.
How would you try to:
-Finish your online chemistry honors class (I basically have to type an research-based essay or two and take the second semester exam)
-Complete my APES summer reading book (approx. 100 pages yet and I can finish in two hours?)
- Finish your English Summer Reading book (Ender's game) when you have ~200 pgs left
- Finish your summer algebra 2 homework (three chapters of assignment problems left)

All the above take need to be completed before August 20th. This year's August 20th.

Please be honest; if I'm screwed, let me know.
And I realize I definitely procrastinate too much; all that is ending now, I'm focused on work.

Thank you all, and I learned my lesson for the future!

2 “Do The Worst First”. I read that somewhere and it’s really true! Do whatever you have been avoiding and get it done. Then do the next hardest. By the time you get to the end you won’t have to use as much energy as the first things required and they won’t seem as insurmountable.

Chem exam should be fairly short. IDK about essay. APES reading should be easy because its only 100p. Enders Game should be enjoyable and a breeze. idk how much time 3 chapters takes you but since you’re Mathguy, I would say not long.

Overall, I think you could handle it in 6 days.

So you have four things that need to get done ?

Okay… Just RELAX !.. You have five days left… and you can do this:

Work EACH day…

August 15 — do the chem stuff
August 16 — do the APES stuff
August 17 — do your English summer reading stuff
August 18 — do your math stuff

You gotta start working early in the morning and MAKE SURE that before you sleep at night, you got your stuff done for that day…

When you’re feeling lazy, just think about the outcome… Think about your grades… If you slack more, you’ll pay the price… and you DO NOT want that price !..

If reading is your thing, do it last, you’ll complete the reading assignments in less than a day. Do the other two assignments on seperate days like YourFav said. Focus, DO NOT GET DISTRACTED, and do your work. Think of the consequences of not completing the assignments and aim for a good grade.

Honestly, do all of your work that is not purely reading. Teacher will not give a test on the first day. It’s basically orientation day. They will more likely collect homework assignments (some teachers may not, but it is highly unlikely that you will get a test on a book that you were assigned to read in the summer on the first day).

If you have to do an assignment such as an essay on something that you have to read I would say do that first. But it’s time consuming D: (or at least to me it is). Do the math packet when you’re bored or something. Like during hulu commercials (honestly this is what I do).

If you finish all your non-pure reading then go ahead and read you’re pure-reading. Or read it at night before you go to bed.
