Is it possible with these grades?! Someone help please!

I'm a rising senior in high school. I have a g.p.a of 3.7 and a SAT I score of 1950 and a 720 on SAT II US History. I'm taking the SAT again this October and SAT chinese and SAT lit in november. But with my grades and SAT scores right now, what is the possibility of getting accepted into top tier universities like Brown, Stanford, or Columbia? And what is the possibility of getting accepted into mid-tier universities like Georgetown, NYU, Boston College, or a high liberal arts universities like Wellesley or Williams? Can someone please help me? I'd like to know how much harder I have to work on my SAT I and SAT II's. Thank you!

brown stanford and columbia are high reaches. Try to get the sat up to 2100, raise the gpa (important, but raising sat is more important) and also be sure that ec’s are solid and have good essays and recs. if you do this then all of the colleges will be less of a reach. The other colleges seem to be a small reach too.

You should work as hard as you can.

Brown, Stanford, Wellesley, Williams and columbia are super-high reaches – virtually impossibilities in today’s context. Even the others you listed are tough calls, to be frank. Make sure you apply widely to a broad base of colleges where you can see yourself flourishing. Best of luck to you

No, its not even worth trying for the ones you listed like Brown. You can try, by writing a creative essay, and if you really have an interesting history, you should go for it.
But, if not, it’s probably impossible to go in, I know a guy who scored a 2000 on the SAT, and took all AP class with over 4.0 GPA, and barely got into UCI (a school lower than UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, everything).

However, it is worth putting in UCLA or Boston, but that’s super hard to get in also.
The colleges you listed are too high of a level to get in at that level, but i suggest you try applying to many colleges and see what happens.
