Is it possible?

Hello :). Thank you for taking the time to look at this. If it helps, I'm a female Asian from NY, currently in my senior year. :)
My current SAT is an 1800, hopefully I'll boost it up to a 1900.

The College of William and Mary (I know, a reach)
University of North Carolina (another reach)

My number one is UNC, followed by W&M... I know its kind of a stretch :\ is there anything I can do to help my chances?
So, how do I stack up? Thank you once again for taking the time to read this!

Your stats aren’t encouraging. If you look at part C of W&M’s 2011 common data set http://iae.wm.edu/ir/CDS/cds_1112_part_c.pdf</a>, you’ll see that only about 3.5 percent of the class had a GPA in your range, and your current SAT would put you in their 25th percentile. There’s also the fact that admissions are generally tougher for OOS and female applicants. Are you likely to be a recruited athlete for swimming or track?

Have you considered the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg? It’s quite similar in feel to W & M, and slightly less selective. One possibility, if you continue to be interested in W&M, is to do quite well as a freshman at another school and then transfer.
