<p>So long as you fulfill the requirements for both degrees, then you should be fine, though I imagine the elective requirements for each respective degree will vary significantly between the two majors. Plan on taking an extra year or two.</p>
<p>don't mean to hijack but I have do have a question on the last reply. I am primarily majoring in an engineering discipline but also wish to major in math. Does having to satisfy the elective requirements for both degrees include the extra courses on the math degree that are normally excused in the engineering GEC?</p>
