<p>Am I able to let the colleges I am applying to know of certain circumstances that have negatively affected my GPA? I missed over 30 days of school my sophomore year because I had mono and still managed to salvage a 76 as my lowest grade, but my GPA took a hit. My GPA was also affected during my junior year when I was incapacitated for 8 weeks from having surgery on my dominant hand and had major trouble completing my work. I currently have an overall unweighted GPA of 3.32 and am applying to Michigan State, UCF, USF, Tampa, Rutgers, and Marquette. Will these schools understand that my GPA doesn't totally reflect the work I have put in as a student?</p>
