A little background before I get started: I just turned 18 and I graduated high school in 2011 with a 3.3 GPA, 2100 SAT, 31 ACT. Went to two colleges near home and dropped out due to lack of effort put in and really not taking life seriously. I have ADHD and my prescription was cancelled due to it turning me into an insomniac. It's not an excuse, just info about me. I moved to Seattle this August and am attending community college to get a "Direct Transfer Agreement" which will help me get my life back on track.

Present day: I'm only taking one class due to economical problems and it looks like I'm going to fail that class. I will be taking three classes for 17 credits in the Winter quarter and hopefully 18 next spring. I want to transfer to University of Washington or Washington State by early to mid-2013. I will be back on ADD/ADHD medication again by the start of winter quarter; it did help me with focusing but the lack of sleep also had adverse effects on my body. I really want to take at least 40-60 credits before transferring so I should be able to get my GPA to a solid 3.5. Oh and with all the spare time I had this quarter, I spent at least 35 hours a week volunteering at a hospital near me, so maybe that will look good on my resume later on? At this point in my life, I just really want to graduate with a Bachelors degree. My main question is: Can I still transfer to UW in a year or two after failing this class and making almost all A's and maybe one or two B's? Any tips in general will help too. Thanks
